TreeLink was founded in 2008 by Angus McGregor and Russell Cleaver. Over the years, it has grown from a small two-man team with a ute and a trailer, to a fleet of 10 trucks, 5 chippers and 20 staff. All staff are fully qualified, with on-going training and development around quality management procedures.
Angus and Russell began the company in their final year of study at Sydney University. Once the boys were up and running, they noticed the industry was lacking customer service and were determined to be different. Together they developed systems and built a strong culture of delivering quality work. Processes and standards include ISO accreditations for Quality 9001, Environment 14001 and Safety 4801, all of which are certified by an independent auditor. The accreditation provides peace of mind to prospective clients that all processes and policies are of the highest standard. As a result, TreeLink has grown largely through repeat and referral work, as well as establishing solid relationships with large civil companies, Transport for NSW, National Parks and Wildlife and RailCorp.
TreeLink have recently opened an office in Bowral to service the Southern Highlands region, led by Russell and supported by a full time local team and our streamlined systems which consistently deliver a high level of safety and customer satisfaction.
Our Sydney Team continue to serve our residential and commercial clients and remain at the forefront of urban tree management. Our grand vision remains to expand into each Australian capital city, becoming the leader in the arboriculture industry.

Our highly selective recruitment process ensures we employ only the best arborists. Every member of staff has extensive experience in the tree industry, holds at least an AQF Level 2 Arborist Certificate or higher, and undergoes regular training to constantly improve their arboricultural knowledge, safety awareness and skills.
Our staff receive training in arboriculture and also hold qualifications in Senior First Aid, Traffic Control (blue and yellow cards), Aerial Rescue, Power Line Approach, Chemical Preparation and Application, and Elevated Work Platform Operation. They are all RailCorp inducted and hold valid RISI Rail Safety Worker Cards.
Our Tree Aborists operate in teams composed of a Team Leader – an AQF Level 2 or 3 arborist; a Climber – an AQF Level 3 arborist; and Groundsmen – AQF Level 2 (or higher) arborists.
