All your questions about professional tree removal answered

Can I grind the stump myself?

Stump grinding should only be done by trained and experienced professionals. The machines can vary from lawn mower size to being as large as a small car. TreeLink has the correct equipment, and our staff carry all the required AQF certifications for stump grinding. We conduct pre-site inspections to ensure all underground services are located before work commences.

Do you have a certified arborist on staff?

Absolutely. Not only do we employ qualified arborists up to a Level 5 certification, but many also hold additional qualifications, including climbing licenses for high jobs.

Are you insured?

TreeLink maintains all necessary insurance documentation to carry out work for all aspects of tree management from residential jobs to large-scale commercial projects, including Workers Compensation Act 1987 Policy A MWN7107284033 Combined General & Products Liability Insurance Policy 439977 ($20, 000 000 AUD Limit of Indemnity) Licensee: R.B Cleaver & A.W McGregor T/as TreeLink Tree Services.

All work practices comply with current WHS regulations and are in accordance with Australian Standard AS4373-2007 (Pruning of Amenity Trees).

All practical tree works are in accordance with the Work Cover NSW Code of Practice for The Amenity Tree Industry, 1998.

How much will it cost?

There’s no fixed price. An AQF Level 3 arborist will make a site visit and provide a quote based on your specific circumstances. This quote is obligation-free, and you are welcome to discuss with us if you have any questions, proceed or look for alternative tree services.

When can it be done and how long will it take?

We employ over 20 staff across two locations and thanks to our specialist equipment, we have a large capacity to get jobs done safely and efficiently. Depending on the scope of the job, it can take from as little as a few hours, up to a few days. We’ll provide this information in our initial quote.

If the problem tree is gone, can't I just leave the stump?

We do recommend having tree stumps removed to prevent regrowth, termites and tripping hazards. We have the equipment to make short work of your stump, turning it to small wood chips which can be repurposed as mulch for your garden or to fill the hole left by the stump.

Will it make a mess and what is the cleanup process?

Ensuring your site is left clean and tidy is just part of the service we provide. We manage your tree removal from council approval and stakeholder management to removal of green waste and revegetation.
